I have an HPX-15, and have two Bazooka speakers mounted to the poling platform. They are ridiculously loud, but I am thinking about removing them just for the weight savings. However, I absolutely will replace them with something else mounted, that last thing I want is another "thing" taking up floor space in the boat.

Well…was hopping on to sing the praises of Turtlebox, but everyone beat me to it. They are some really fantastic guys right here in Houston. As a marketing promo/gimmick they installed 8 of their speakers on our main Little League baseball field to help improve our PA system. It has awesome sound now, and every dad has gone out and bought one! Turtlebox is a standup company run by fantastic people!

As many have said, we love our Turtlebox. Use it for all kinds of stuff, but it is big I suppose. We has a Bose Soundlink Micro before that was really actually awesome for it's size. Also a WHOLE lot cheaper than a turtle box.

These are inexpensive and come with a small controller that can be mounted out of size. We attached them to a starport so they can be moved around some on the RailBlaza system on the skiff.

I used mine for about 4 hours straight yesterday and it didn't go down one battery light. And what people don't realize is that they are waterproof and float, so they won't get lost or damaged in the boat world.
