No info to give, but as much as I like the simplicity of my tiller, I’ve had a side console conversion on my mind as well. Seems like it’d Be easier on these old shoulders and offer a better ride for my occasional passenger.

 

@JC Designs just built a pretty sick on for a Johnson that allows you to use the rod holder underneath. Post a pic JC

Love my side console and the room it affords. Rod storage on that side isn't an issue since I stow my shorter bait-casting outfit there.

 

Reach out to the Skiff Shop - they aren't north Florida, but can ship. They do good work. Fabricated me a shelf off my side console Whipray. Fit perfectly.

Thank you. I slicked most of it out and did conventional non skid but just had to do a little subtle webbing since it is an old retro Johnsen lol.
