I am looking for an inexpensive, less than $20k, skiff. It seems as if a saltmarsh 1444 or a gheenoe are the options I can find. Are there other ones out there, that I am missing?

I highly doubt he didn't have one to drive. Just saying, investing in collectible cars is a hell of a lot more fun than the damn stock market unless you're a stock market nerd or something.
I get it and agree, this coming from a stock nerd that likes boats, motorcycles and cars... 😄

Not from a money standpoint , but they definitely do from a noisy hull aspect. And it seems a lot , even the majority, of lower cost boats have chines near the waterline.Meh. Fish don't know what you're sitting in
I wouldn't know, but having 73 million would be pretty fun i think

I did look at those. The gheenoe prices jump very fast with just a few options. I don't think I saw a towee 17. I'll re-investigate.

I like that one. Simple, probably stable. I wonder how much, with a poling platform and trolling motor. When will they start building them?
Very interested in the new Towee, I always thought they were too small but the Sherpa seems to be the ticket for all around inshore fishing. Would like to see the pricing myself.
[edit] Looks like it's gonna be starting at $17k for hull and trailer, so you're gonna be looking at around $22k with a decent motor, not bad actually for a brand new 17ft skiff.

The pricing for it starts at $12,950 for a bare hull. Trailer $3,500. Polling platform $1,550. Plus whatever you choose for a motor and trolling motor. They are taking orders.
