I built both a casting and polling platform for my last skiff myself out of Alum. If you’re able to weld, bend and cut tubing it’s not extremely difficult. My plan for current skiff is to build em outta Carbon. I’ll be tackling that project once I finish this bathroom remodel.

 

that's where I am headed. but I am without a tube bender. Going to ask around to see if any local shops will bend my cuts
