Awesome! Yea I didnt want to add spikes to my boat so these definitely worked out. You try them yet?Great idea. Didn’t use as many spikes per mat but can always add them. Considering taping 2 end to end and having a set on each side. I made these for fishing with a friend that has a Copperhead. He has line spikes on the bow but I often fish the stern in front of the poling platform so I’ll use them there.

I used a 7.62 ammo casing and a hammer. Quick and easy. Was lucky to find a shell in my closet lolWhat are you folks using to punch holes? I'm not pleased with my current method, basically using an X-acto cutting around a circle drawn with a Sharpie. There's gotta be a better way.
