I have always taken my old Yeti Hopper on our vactions/fishing trips as it works well as a carry-on on and as cooler when you need something for the golf cart or boat. While in Belize the zipper took got stuck on one end and the wife tore the heavy Yeti material while trying to free the zipper. I was only able to get the zipper in backwards and used a lighter/paper clip to make a stop so it would not come apart again. Got home and made a template on card-bord stop that would fit and cut it out of fiberglass and used stainless screws and stop nuts to secure top and bottom. Used some Silicone to seal things up and it is as good as new!

nice fix....I had the same model and it was a total disaster....the zipper broke after it was out of warranty and they would not take it back....I ended up throwing it out as I could not find a local cobbler to fix it.....NEVER will buy another hopper with zipper...I'm a YETI lover, but, this design was the worst.
When I contacted them, they said they do not do repair work on out of warranty items....contact was via email.
