Looking for a push pole in the Charleston area if anyone knows of one. Will be poling a Gheenoe Classic and really just learning to pole, so doesn't need to be the best pole out there.
If you find a fiberglass push pole for cheap, i just redid mine with some sandpaper, acetone, and then spray painted with white appliance epoxy and it turned out like new! good luck!
I have a 2 piece fiberglass pole I would sell. Will have to double check the length but I believe it is around 21ft but can always be cut down.
Let me know if you are interested and I will pull it out of storage and check.
You can pick up a new Superstick adjustable pole for $200 at Seewee Outpost in Awendaw. Not the lightest, but definitely the cheapest option I've seen so far.
I know a guy that might be willing to sell his old pole -- it's been repaired, and I think has a small leak, and it's a little crooked, but he'd probably let it go cheap and would be a good pole to learn with.
