anyone have one you are looking to part with? Either 9 or 10 wt would be fine.

If not, anyone using one that can share some experience?

Thanks.

Curious - what you would use that for? Bigger Tarpon around bridges? I've been intrigued by a short rod but would be more interested in a 6 - 8 weight for dock light fishing for smaller snook.

I have a 7'11" recon 8 wt and it's an awesome rod. You can still make the long casts with it. It just feels nice all around.

curious about your orvis recon. as i am interested in buying one. do you see any limitations with that length vs the 9'. i don't have an 8wt. so this will be by go to for bass and some bay fishing.

Impressive Rods. They are designed to cast standard 8wt and 10wt lines. Load quickly and efficiently. A ton of lifting power.
