Planning to go full weekend warrior into flamingo in the upcoming months.

Wondering about good fly pattern suggestions for snook, redfish, triple tail. I've been throwing all paddle tails to date, but I'd like to break out the fly every once and a while, and not much idea what I should be starting with for a small fly starter set.

I have a TFO 8 weight setup. Have a few shrimp and crab patterns, and would welcome some other suggestions.

I just got back from there 2 days ago. We threw larger flies than normal hoping for larger snook.

Honestly you need 3 flies.

size 1 or 1/0 popper maybe 3"-4" long
white fly 1/0 to size 2
black fly 1/0 to size 2

any pattern with movement works.. i use like a seaducer, deciever, schminnow, or puglisi batefish type thing.... maybe some with weedguards

Probably just buying at this point. Just starting to throw a fly a little more reliably, but not planning to tie my own justyet.

I've caught all three on a black and purple EP minnow, a really small one.
