I’ve been looking too, you said “not Clearwater” for Orvis but...their Clearwater 10’ 3 wt nymphing rods gets good reviews and right now they have a $50 off coupon on orders of $200 or more so you can get that Clearwater and a euroleader for about $150. They are also offering free shipping on fly gear. From what I’ve been reading the nymphing rods have evolved fast and you may be better off with a more recent less expensive rod than finding a deal on an older used rod (one of my favorite things to do).

Interesting, thanks for that info, I only said no Clearwater because I threw one of the 6wt rods and really didn't like it. I understand the Euro rod is a completely different animal. Hahaha ridiculous, that's exactly the type of stuff that makes me have a love/hate relationship with whOrvis. I will say I have a 10wt H3 and the thing is downright amazing, but a lot of things about that company irritate me.The store near me excluded wool socks because they fishing socks.
