Who has tried wireless brake lights?

I bought a set of Amazon for less than $60 just to try. I never have had two working trailer light on a boat trailer until now. They actually work great. The battery lasts about 7-8 hours but charge up pretty quick. I got ones with a magnet and suction cup mount. The mount is my only complaint. The suction cup isn’t strong enough even on a freshly waxed haul and I don’t have enough metal for the magnet to grab. I have been thinking about bolting a piece of steel plate where the old lights are mounted and try the magnets. Currently I use a zip tie to the guide pole or poling platform. They are now part of my unloading and loading process. Remove straps, lights, insert plug,…… Then the lights go in my truck and never see the water and don’t walk away. You could even charge them while on the water if you 12V plugs work while the vehicle is off.
