My skiff has the flush insert on deck to which I screw in a 1/4" bolt on turnbuckle to hold platform in place. I'd like to mount another one further forward as I plan on getting a much larger platform w cage this spring. So please advise as to what this is called so I can get another. And if can advise where to purchase on the cheap I would appreciate that help as well.

    Thanks in advance.

Close but not exactly and thanks for the reply. More like the idea of a castle nut and I'm sure there must be a backing plate. Pic stolen from Blue Point.

Bluepoint calls them "deck or hatch anchors"
