Selling my like-new Wenonah Fisherman 14 canoe. I picked this boat up from a Wenonah dealer in Tampa late last year and have only used it a handful of times. It's a beautiful canoe that paddles and poles like a dream but I bought a Wenonah Backwater square stern at the same time and just haven't used this beauty as much as I thought I would. It has a handful of small handling marks in the gelcoat but is otherwise like new. I oiled the gunwales when I first brought it home per Wenonah's instructions and it's been stored under a cover on my canoe rack.
Wenonah no longer builds the Fisherman in this layup and in my eyes it's the ideal setup for a solo saltwater fishing canoe. 14' x 40" with minimal rocker it paddles very well solo from the bow seat. I prefer a single blade but the quick taper of the hull and the tumblehome would allow the use of a double bladed paddle as well. The Kevlar FlexCore gives you the lightweight of a kevlar boat with a little added durability from the glass and gelcoat that pure kevlar boats are missing.
