i had a tough time tracking mariner parts for my 4hp. turned out that a lot of the smaller sizes were made by yamaha. look around the block and if you can see the yamaha stamp on some the parts. its like a 3 leg peace kind of symbol. might have to try a yamaha dealer to get parts.
Trying to ID this Mariner outboard, please help
It is a 8M with a code 661 S S/N 033216, it says made in Japan on the plate. I am trying to figure out the year and get a manual. Any help would be great
