Here's a picture of one caught and released Wednesday on the upper Texas coast. Sorry wasn't fishing in the boat but rather off the bank at a pass throwing bass assassins. It looks a lot larger than it weighed. It actually weighed in at 7#'s and 9 oz before I released it. Not bad for a day with 25 mile an hour easterly winds. We fished the incoming tide and the fish came through in waves. That was the largest that I caught. in my haste to release her I didn't notice that I hadn't washed the sand off her.

LOL..Tempting but my buddy with the scale would never let me forget it. She'll weigh a lot more if some else catches her in 30-45 days. I really thought she was going to be around 8#'s due to her head structure and girth. Anyway, she's my largest so far this year.
