Installed the troller I bought from a friend, I put this plug on it. http://www.marinco.com/product/connectpro-plug

The motor worked on the first trip. Now it does not work.

I tested the batteries. 12 volts on battery 1, 11.8 on battery 2.

Female end of plug reads 23.8 on tester.

I tried my BIL's troller, his didnt work either. So now I know that it is not the motor.

So now I say WTF. The plug is designed to be put in then turned to connect. The prongs on the plug are designed to be inserted in the receptacle only 1 way.

    Any ideas?

    $229.00 for a battery  Wow !!!

I get mine at Walmart for about $70.00. Use 'em hard for a couple of years then buy another.

Tip with multi battery systems. General rule of thumb is replace both batterys at the same time.

    Cheers
