Hello Everyone-
I am planning on making a transom block out of HDPE for mounting my Lowrance Totalscan transducer as shown on this page:

They recommend using West Systems G-flex 655 epoxy. This seems pretty expensive for the small amount needed. Does anyone have a good alternative for mounting a starboard (HDPE) block with dovetail holes to a fiberglass transom without drilling holes in the boat?

Drill and tap some bigger holes in the Starboard so there is a mechanical bond for the adhesive to fill up and hold or use some 3M adhesive made for Starboard but I think you have to scorch the Starboard with a torch to change the composition so the adhesive bonds.
