I broke the connector from my trailer to the vehicle plug. I need to order a new wiring harness (connector) for the trailer. Here lies my issue. It’s a 4 pin connector, but has 6 wires. The lights are wired left and right, so two brown wires. However, I also have two ground wires (white)? Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I didn’t even see this setup on the wesbar website. Can I splice the two ground wires together into 1?

You can splice a trailer wire but is just going to let water in at some point in time. Most auto parts stores will have what you’re after. They may have to order it. Good luck

Like Rob said it will corrode eventually but you'll probable need another plug before splice corrodes if you solder and use Marine (glue lined) heat shrink. HF have a nice little kit of Marine heat shrink 42 piece set for 6 bucks.
