Forgive me if this has been discussed in the past. (I searched for it)
I'm looking to find a lower cost option for a trailer ($500 ish. It can be used or such.) I'll be picking up an Ankona Shadowcast 16 soon and want to know what to look for in a used or lower cost option, if i'm trying to save some $$ on a trailer. I'm fairly auto savvy, regards to hubs/bearings replacing them etc.
But I'm not sure what to look for when finding the right fit for the boat.

thanks for any help.

Make sure it's wide enough for the boat to fit between the fenders and long enough from the back to the winch post and you don't want one that's made to carry a much heavier boat, the springs will be too stiff.
