Dads weekend will be the first trip in an Ankona shadowcast 18. 8 gallon tank. 2 guys, light load of fly fishing stuff.i know there’s a lot of variables, but Expected range???? MPGs???

I see between 9-12 MPG with my 40hp Tohatsu on a 1656. I would say the numbers would be comparable.

I average 10mpg with a normal load. Same rig.

4mpg sure beats 4gpm!

Call Mel. They have that data. But don't forget to take a measure stick with you. Also a gps tracking your route will give you real accurate numbers.

If you have to break in the motor then your mpg will vary.
