So I'm chatting with a buddy the other day and he is redoing his skiff too. We are both using Interlux perfection, and he asks me if I'm adding flattening agent on the interior.
Honestly never really thought about it. I'm going to do non skid via the salt shaker method with ground pumice in off white/cream I think. The boat is light blue.
Is it worth buying the flattening agent?

I just finished redoing the floor in an Ankona with Interlux Perfection and I used the flattening agent to the semi gloss specs and was very pleased with the results. It was a lot of cockpit floor and I didn’t want it overly shiny

Probably different, I refinished a push pole with the perfection plus and it came out exceptionally smooth. I just used it straight from the can without adding anything to it.
