I had a buddy tell me that he has never seen the red tide worse than it was last weekend in that area.

Only thing you are catching is dead floating fish.
Really not safe to be in that water right now.

It was way worse after Irma this was the Calossahatchee River about 30 miles upriver or so worst I've seen it in my 55 years here this was the Alva boatramp on the freshwater side of the locks

Oh I have no doubt this is gonna be a bad summer red tide wise. Hopefully I'm wrong only time will tell.

Estero is tough right now with the red tide. Hopefully it doesnt turn into 2018 again or worse.

I fished yesterday morning up in the North end of the bay, didn't notice any red tide and the water looks clear in a lot of area's which is where we bumped into fish. Saw a good bit of birds working so there's some bait around. We came out from the 10 mile canal and there's still a pretty nasty oil sheen coming out of there with the falling tide, must be a car or boat down at the bottom somwhere...
