Here are a few shots of the new DragonFly Side Console Version from Terrapin Skiffs.
We have been working hard to fulfill your requests for an inexpensive
side console version of our DragonFly skiff. Well, here she is.
After a long look at what is being offered out there we came up with
a much more simple but very strong design without sacrificing our
cockpit space. Gauges are on a raised bezel to allow clear sight of
their functions and full running and anchor lights along with LED
cockpit illumination has been included as standard equipment. A
Battery shut-off switch leading to a long lasting Odyssey Battery is
also the standard on the Side Console Version of the DragonFly.
Did I mention that we used the new
Honda 30 HP Four Stroke while "On the Flats"
This was the tested power for the new Side Console DragonFly?
With over a 120% flotation rating in our hull even with this motor
weighting in at 187 pounds plus other rigging, we are very pleased
with the performance.
30+ miles per hour on the GPS with a full fuel cell, fishing gear,
cooler full of drinks and ice and just over 400 pounds of anglers
onboard, this skiff rides much better than just a micro-skiff.
Draft ?
Draft you say?
How about an honest 4 inches.
How about that boy's!!!!
The stability of our DragonFly will astound you. How about
fishing with three anglers you ask? Can do!
Draft? 4.5 inches!!!!
Here are some new additions to our
options list from Joe @ Carbon Marine.
This is some of the best carbon lay-up I
have ever seen.
Give Capt. Dave a call to wet test this great new version of our skiffs.
Also watch for Capt. Dave to be doing demo weekends
and Boat Shows throughout the state of Florida very soon.
