Hello all. I stored my boat at Buckingham in a dry facility for a small repair. It got stolen last week. Thanks for reporting if you see it for sale or on the water. Thanks

Sorry for your loss. Some more details (state, area) on the actual location will help folks keep on the lookout.

Well that sucks. Especially after all the work I assume you put into building it. I always liked those and still bat around the idea of building one.
I’ve seen some in Marketplace lately but not with that hatch or paint pattern. Hope they catch the scumbags that stole it.

Ditto. Post em up and we will all be on the lookout.
Pure shitbaggery. Hopefully they get theirs........
Hope you get it back. I wonder if anyone has ever hidden an apple air tag in their boat? It might help recovering it if it gets stolen.
Doesn’t get much shittier than that! Hope you find it and the bastard that stole it!

Hope you recover it in good condition... can't be many of those around... Was there a motor or trailer taken as well? If you can post up as many photos of the skiff as possible - along with FL numbers, trailer tag if any, etc.

PS... with a small craft you might be looking at someone living on or near the water - close by - particularly the kind of folks that would star in a "trailer trash" flick - so looking around the area it was taken from a bit might work for you....

Sorry to hear this man. I'll be keep an eye out up in Tampa area.

What kind of facility is Buckingham?

Buckingham is a town north of Fort Myers in the Lehigh area (south Florida). The trailer and engine were not stored where the boat was. So, at least, I still have those. I filed a police report. They have two suspects that showed up on the video surveillance. Here are a few more pictures.
This boat was also tested and review on Skiff Life’s Bateau SK14 Build, A Microskiff for Skinny Water Skiff Life
I bought the boat from the reviewer. I have a 9.8 tohatsu for it.

With no trailer... that small skiff might be very close to where it was taken... In 1974 I was a young, very green cop down here in paradise, the north end of Dade county... and actually recovered one or two stolen boats on the job in my spare time- but I was a guy who walked right off the local charterboat docks (I was a just a mate...) into the local police academy - all those years ago - so I knew a bit about boats -and some of the lowlifes that will take anything not locked down if they think they can get away with it..

Hope you're able to make a recovery since you're probably the only one with the incentive to go looking for it... It is listed as stolen so any officers that check it out will find out immediately that it's a stolen vessel - but rarely ever will anyone make a point of actually looking for it since they're just too busy handling calls and all the other BS that goes with that world. I very lucky to be able to retire out years ago can come back to fishing.. .
I am firm believer Bob has a story for every occasion😂

As dumb as most thieves are, I suspect even the dimmest of the bunch splashed some new paint on it just to attempt concealing their theft. Sorry for your loss :(
^^^^ i think it has a wrap on it ? But that style of boat want be hard to see 👍

If i was the police id be watching DMV for anyone trying to get a homemade title that fits that boats measurements 👍😎 infact If i was the OP Id go myself and give them a Heads up!

Unfortunately that little sleepy town disappeared a long time ago plus our Sherriff isn't interested in finding a stolen boat unless it has triple motors on the back and he can do a photo shoot when done. He's to busy doing tic tok videos and wasting tax payers money on frivolous items such as mahogany doors for his office and a mahogany desk. He's no Grady Judd unfortunately. He also never spent one day as a road deputy.
