My son and I fished this morning a cove near Jupiter inlet. The snook and mangrove snapper spawn in is full bloom. This cove is a place where they can rest after an exhausting courtship. As human males can relate, the spawn is the easy part. It's the courtship that is tiring. After 4 fourteen dollar appletini's she tells you she has a boyfriend and you end up spending your last 4 dollars (busch light) on a chunky gal in the corner with a lazy eye to score. But I digress. Any way, we were rewarded with a snook looking for an easy meal (dead sardine). Ah, but the snook gets to turn the table later in life when he becomes a she and has appletini's or busch light purchased for her.
