Custom hard bolted seats come with this skiff. I Requested that they look just like the ones on my old BT Mosquito. The seats are still being made and should arrive soon. We used closed cell foam and will be like my Waterman but have the BT colors and piping. Cass at New Moon Upholstery In FL is making them for me.

Nice Skiff! Any idea who makes the double rod holder on the side of your console? That's exactly what I am looking for to add to my Mitzi.

I found the paperwork for the extended warranty... the E-tec has a 10 year B.E.S.T. warranty that expires on 10/26/2027 or 1,500 total hours with a $50 deductible. Great deal if you ask me!

I'm not going to lie, if this skiff doesn't sell, I won't be upset. Regardless, I can't keep my Waterman and the Heron so they're both up for sale.

Some random pictures. I used a small “rare earth” magnet from Amazon and stuck it on the console with 3M tape. I have a Craftsman magnetic cup holder that works great to hold a drink or my portable Bluetooth speaker.

I may have to snag me some of that 3 in 1 wax.

It worked OK for the average person. Most of the shine came from using Menzerna Heavy Cut 400 compound. The Flitz polish drill buff ball attachment is easy to use on the edge of the non-skid.

If you're interested in detailing but don't want to spend a fortune, buy yourself a Harbor Freight dual action polisher and a HBF rotary polisher. Replace the backing plates with a Lake Country or something else nicer. Use nice pads. They work great for the price. I use my HBF polishers all the time and have never had any issues. I also have two Rupes polishers that are four times the cost of the HBF.

The biggest thing is being able to prep the gelocat and the paint. get your surface clean of any residue or defects by washing with Dawn and using a clay bar. From there, try a simple hand wax and see how it turns out. If the end result is not what you're looking for, continue with the steps below. Youtube is a great resource.

This is my go to for marine applications on the hull, etc. Apply with a chip brush and use a rotary polisher with a wool pad.
