I have decided to sell my black Gordon 16 that is a bit different from the production boats.
It has a buckskin cap and cockpit, a removable poling platform, and removable twin 6.6 gallon fuel tanks and electric tabs.
The port side built in livewell is double insulated and works as a perfect built in cooler.
It has the original Ramlin galvanized trailer which has never been dunked.
The boat is a Kevlar boat with a tiller control.
The boat catches fish (some don't, you know)
The pictures or either on Tom's site www.gordonboats.com (go to the first page of 16 foot boat section) or I can email them to you.
It is available without a motor at 12,500 for those of you who have one,
or with a 25 hp mercury 2 stroke that needs rebuilding for 13,500; the new block and pistons from Mercury and all necessary parts included,
or with a new motor of your choice (add the price of the new motor to the bare hull price).
Thank you for taking the time to view his ad.
Happy New Year and tight Lines to all!

Re: Gordon 16 For Sale

A few questions:

What year is the hull?
What speed do you get with a 25?
Does the trailer have a removable tongue?

Thanks.

Re: Gordon 16 For Sale

Sorry about the lack of information...
The hull is a 2005, built up by Tom when he first left Hell's Bay with the molds.
Solo speed on a gps is 30 mph wot, and with 2 anglers and fully equipped with full fuel 27 is what she runs "in the corner". That was with either the Tohatsu or the mercury 25 2 stroke, same speed and same fuel efficiency, which is 9-10 mpg.
The trailer does not have a removable tongue, as I didn't need that feature. I think that Ramlin can retrofit one for you, though.
I kept the boat in my two car garage for most of its life and it fit in the 20x22 garage with no problem. The rest of the time it was covered on the side of the house. The gelcoat is in very good condition, with little to no sun fade.
Thank you for your inquiry!

That's OK, I would look better in it anyway. ;)
