First my reason for selling -
This is a great skiff. The fine folks at Ankona are great to work with and build great boats.
That being said, I built this Tavernier 17 last year primarily to be able to fish with my 82 year old dad as he loves to fish in boats but he was reaching a point where his days of doing what he loved were passing. The last couple of months we had to make some tough decisions and we moved him down to St. Pete (where my sister and other relatives live) so he and my 87 year old mom can get more in-home assistance that they really need.

I'm not in a hurry to sell it but could use the space as I have 3 boats.

So here are the details.

Build details-
Tavernier 17-
Whisper gray hull with a two tone whisper gray and matterhorn white deck.
Whisper gray console and livewell.
Moved the livewell and console forward 3”.
House battery and power pole pump is in console.
Suzuki 60 four stroke
Motor guide Xi5 TM
8’ Power pole
V Marine push pole holders.
Quick release brackets for the TM and ladder. Can also use the rear quick release bracket to store the TM.

Here’s my build -

Good looking boat....it simple, clean, and functional. It reminds me of the old keys “flats boats” that had a little bay boat flare like the Roberts etc.

Wish I had the $$$. GLWS

Based on volume and how the height of my standpipe, it’s about 15 gallons.
Could be more with a higher standpipe. I cut mine down a lot.

The draft is 7-8” depending on load.

I’m not the most qualified person to tell you how it poles because I very rarely pole. I’ve poled it maybe 50 yards at the most just to try it.
