I’m hoping to have my skimmer 14.6 built in the coming weeks and will drive from North Carolina to Florida to pick it up
the boat will stay on a lift on my dock, so I won’t need a trailer for daily transportation. I would like to pick up a cheap trailer to keep on hand when I must remove the boat due to storms.
I currently have a 21 for Carolina skiff on a trailer, so my question is ...
Could I bring my big trailer to pick up the new skiff? Any issues you see with transporting a smaller boat on a trailer set up for a larger boat? I would think that as long as it is tied down from the bow and stern, there shouldn’t be any issues.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can get my boat from Florida to nc without purchasing a road worthy trailer?
