Unfortunately, I'm listing my Skull Island 16 for sale.  This boat is clean and has been garage kept since day 1.  It's a 2012 Hull (SI Hull #6) with a 2007 super clean Yamaha 25 2-stroke.  The skiff was built to be ultra light, ultra simple, and ultra shallow.

Here's a quick list of details:
2012 Hull, Sky Blue with White Matterhorn Decks
    2007 Yamaha 25 MSH 2-Stroke.  Low hours.
    2012 Continental Aluminum Trailer
Poling and casting platforms with custom Sea-Deck.
    Rear hard mounted cushion
Minn Kota SM 55lb Variable Speed Trolling Motor, w/ quick release mount
    Minn Kota MK-210-D Onboard Charger
Odyssey 34M-PC1500 Battery (removable tray system)
    Tibor Push Pole Caddy
    21' Stiffy Hybrid Push Pole

This skiff is the Sky Blue hull featured on their website.  The boat is flawless and I do NOT want to sell.  Skiff is located in Mobile AL.  Give me a call if you have any questions.  228-355-1328.  I've got plenty of pics to share at your request.

    $16,500   :'(

I have seen this skiff and fished with Chad when I had my SI.

Boat is what he says it is.   It will sell.

Do Skull Island 16' use a 15" (short shaft) or 20" (long shaft) outboard?

Reading this post, I imagine this is how my girlfriend feels when she reads facebook posts about puppies that don't have a home. They always result in her crying / wanting to adopt and us going to get ice-cream.

I think I am going to get ice cream after work today.

To answer a few questions I'm getting from PMs:

The switches/accessories on the rear bulkhead are:
    1. Waterproof switch panel (Nav Light, Anchor Light, Bilge)
    2. Trim tab controls
    3. 3 prong bulkhead plug for battery charger

The outboard does not have power tilt and trim. With the super light 2 stroke, I just reach back with one hand to tilt to motor up.

There's currently Powertech SRA3 cupped stainless prop installed that's pitched pretty low for hole shot to get on plane quickly. With the current prop I see top speeds of around 30 MPH and cruise comfortably at around 26.5 MPH (per handheld GPS).

Thanks for all of the interest and compliments on the skiff!!

Mine's a 12 gallon aluminum. It's located flush against the front bulkhead . You can see the gas cap in the last picture I posted. Tank right below it.

    Thanks again Chad.

This boat looks brand new, Chad did an awesome job with it. Looking forward to sliming her this week.
