Never been on the HB Guide but almost bought a Chittum LM 1/2 carbon hull. As to draft, hole shot and stability, it's truly amazing. I still want to get out in a rough or semi rough day to see how it handles the chop with that mostly flat bottom. There's a Chittum rep in Rockport that will take you out for a demo day. Can put you in touch, if needed.
