I have a Gordon Waterman and, after several years enjoying its functionality, I want to upgrade it aesthetically. Of course Brian at Islamarine has worked on it in the past when I lived in the Keys but now that I am in the Sarasota area, I am wondering if any of you know of a skiff repair, rig and restore person here on the central Gulf coast. I would travel a good distance to deliver the boat if I can find such a person. Help!

I’d be happy to take it on for you. It will be after June before I could commit to another project though. Another good option is Young boats in Inglis, they do great work too!

James/Boatbrains was my first suggestion.

Another but further away is Mike's Marine Ways in St. Marks. He has done several restorations and does quality work.

With all the boat-building talent in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, there surely has to be someone local who could handle the task, though.
