The wait was finally over this past Sat. Got to pick up my new rig from Rose and Mel and take her out the next day (wife had a friends wedding or it would have been the same day). Pretty happy with the skiff so far.
You guys have any suggestions for tiller extensions? Open to homemade as long as its safe and appealing to the eye.

I've had my 1444 for 3 years now and it's a bad little boat. I have a factory grab rail/cooler caddy and went with a 33" tiller extension and love it. I prefer a longer extension though, but it's extremely comfortable for longer runs.

18 inch extension. That doesn't include the part the doors covers the handle. 24 inch total. I'm 6'4 though. YMMV.
