I've got a rubber cover over my rod tubes that keeps my fly rods from rubbing. They came with the boat and i don't know where they came from. The rubber cover has a star pattern cut in it so the rods go through and hold. I don't keep my rods in the boat on a trip. I have a rack in my Expedition for that

These should do the trick minus the metal strap. Budget friendly as well.

Thats kinda like mine minus the metal strap. Just cut a star slit and the rods should hold. I guess this thing fit 1' pvc
