I'm reusing marine carpet on the ski boat. I'm replacing a floor panel and was wondering if thickened epoxy with wood flour is good on the Coosa board to adhere the carpet.

Re-use that carpet - if you must... but after you do your repair and allow everything to cure out properly only re-attach that carpet with an outdoor adhesive meant for carpet in case you ever want to remove and replace it... The way you're considering will certainly do the job - but whoever has to remove it eventually will need a whole new vocabulary when trying to remove it....

If you use epoxy do not thicken it.

Got the panel bonded together last night. Going to put glass on it tonight and then the carpet. The original aluminum core was too damaged and I've heard epoxy doesn't bond to aluminum.

I don't think that core is aluminum - looks like NidaPlast, a composite honeycomb used for decks.
