RedFly #14 was another complete success despite windy conditions. We had 71 anglers participate which is a new record. We also raised $1800 from our prize raffles for Tampa Bay Waterkeeper, which was also a record.

There were alot of solid fish caught. John Brett and Shawn Kersting took home top honors with 54.25". Ricky Stevens took 2nd place, on a paddleboard, with 52.5 inches. 3rd place went to Jeff Brue and Cody Vaughan-Birch with 51.5". Anson Mumaw caught the biggest red of the day at 33", his personal best. I also caught my personal best with a 27.5" red caught on a fly that I created, on my new Scott Sector 6 wt!! The fish took me about 25-30 yards into my backing! Very gratifying!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support RedFly! Thank you to the Salty Shamrock for hosting us! Thank you to ALL of our awesome prize sponsors! And finally thank you to Tampa Bay Waterkeeper for giving us a reason to come together for the betterment of Tampa Bay water quality!!

See you in January 2021 for RedFly #15!!
