Re: Suzuki shaft extension?

    Appears that only the small zuks have an extension option.
    On the larger models, the shift rod, water tube, driveshaft and exhaust housing/midsection
    would all have to be replaced as I don't find individual extensions for each component.
    Looks like you'd have to replace them all. That won't be cheap.

    yeah that looks to be pricey to buy from suzuki. This motor is a 2004 DF140 TLR4 20"  no hours. it's been in storage in the original crate.

    So an 18" setback wouldn't be sufficient?

    If you run a bracket like that you might want to build the transom all the way up.
