what is the correct name for the ribs in the bottom of my boat I removed them due to rot. The bottom of the center rib is damaged but I want to lay the new pieces in and then flip the hull and repair the damage.

Yeah I thought he was talking about the indentations “valleys” not the stringers lol but now he knows what both terms mean

Clean them up a bit and coat with epoxy. Fill with expanding foam. After cure, cut excess off and sand smooth. Then finish off the floor as you were planning.
