What do you use for boat insurance?
Can non-guides answer? If so, Charter Lakes.
My buddy is a guide and I'm pretty sure he uses charter lakes also.
Ill have to look into that. (Im not a guide)
I have my car and boat through geico right now but the auto policy keeps going up every 6 months. If I switch Ill switch both of them.
PROGRESSIVE through USAA
Had a long-term policy with Charter Lakes but their quotes were quite a bit more than Progressive for apples to apples coverage.
X1000! They are great to deal with. I pay about $30 a month and it covers towing, medical, lost gear etc.
When I was making the transition into becoming a guide, I went with Boat US. The insurance was the same price as Progressive, but had much more coverage to be a guide for hire. My art career took off, so I ended up not becoming a guide, but having all the insurnace benefits from Boat US is a plus.
Charter lakes for me
