This setup is from www.kennedytiedown.com. Pretty sure this is @backcountry16's former boat. When you don't want the platform, you can remove the eye bolt so the only thing left is the little button head bolt. I use the same thing to secure my cooler on the bow (second pic).

Unfortunately, they're backordered on turnbuckles until about 7/12.
