my GLumis pole is from 1997 but I’ve been using it for years and it works fine. I have another PP that is much newer, green, was delivered in two 9’ sections. You epoxy it together and a metal sleeve goes over the center join. It is smaller in diameter than the old pole. I was thinking about putting an extension on it to make it 21’-22’. Forgot to mention both poles are glass
The outside diameter of the green pole is 1.256. The white Lumis is 1.565
I don’t know who makes and extension for the green pole I have measured the inside diameter yet

Go directly to whoever made that new pole for an extension and internal sleeve needed to join them...

If it were me I’d have a hard time living with “an external metal sleeve” over a joint on any push pole...

I’m still using my old three piece beat up hybrid G.Loomis pushpole by the way - and have repaired it on more than one occasion.

I may just extend it and use my Loomis. If the Loomis breaks I’ll have a backup
I only pole about 2-4 times a year so...
The people who made the newer pole are out of business
