Finnally "due time" to replace the Alum prop for my 25 MErc.

Would like to put a better performing prop.. 4 Blade , Stainless?

Any suggestions on What and Where to purchase... Thanks for the advise...

    Assuming it's the factory 10-3/8 x 13 3 blade Aluminum:

    What bhote?

Do you know what your RPM's and speed are WOT?

Jack Plate, CMC or mounted to the transom?

When you say "perform better" what exactly do you hope to accomplish?

Cap't your on the ball.. Thanks.

    It is a stock Alum.

    Motor mounted to the transom.

Alum Boat rigged as a flats boat.

No clue on the RPMS. Run about 24-25 WOT. Whole shot is fine.. would like more top end if poss..

Thanks again.. Been reading about the Comprops 4 blades... Any good?

I am thinking one of those or a Stainless.. Just wanted to check with the pros..

    Why 4 blade?

You want more speed or more torque / stern lift? Edit, sorry, I tend to read too fast sometimes and you stated "speed"

Without knowing your RPM's I would stay with a 10 to 10-3/8 3 blade Quick Silver or Power Tech. I got a little more speed out of the Quick Silver but like the way the Power Tech hooks up again after I break it loose in the turns.

I'm guessing your transom is 15". Doesn't matter but raise the motor up till the anti ventilation plate is even with the bottom of the boat or up to 1/2" above. ;)

Sounded like you could get the best of both worlds.. I have no clue.

My torgue and lift are fine now. I can always use more speed if it does not absolutley kill the lift..

    Thanks again..
