interested if anyone has used a power pole micro as a bow mount? I don’t want it in the rear when I’m poling. Any pictures and info would greatly be appreciated.

I bought mine from a friend who had it mounted this way on an East Cape Fury. He was a guide and found it invaluable to stake out the front of the boat while he was up on the poling platform holding the rear. The good part is that the boat always orients itself into the current with this setup as opposed to the other way around in rear mounted powerpole setups. I have the front mounted bracket he used in my garage, it basically looks like a quick disconnect for a trolling motor. Shameless plug: I have my Micro listed for sale in the for sale section of this forum also ;)

This one has the spike cut to 6 1/2 feet. I like it better than the one on the transom, which I have to work around when poling. PP makes a bracket now to attach one to your TM.
