playing with HDR

    there is a link to a great tutorial on the salty shores web site.
    after a quick read and down loading some trial software i was up and running.  i still have a lot to learn but i thought this one came out pretty cool on the grunge preset.

    what photo editing program are you using to get that effect?

    i used photomatix to make a HDR image and then used the grunge preset. if you go to saltyshores.com you can find the link and learn how to do it. you are basically using several shots at different exposes and then combining them or if you shoot in raw i think you can do it with one. check this out.

    sweet did you use the trial version or did you get the orig program. From what i read the trial version leaves a water mark.

    it does. i have since bought the light version but this one i cleaned up in picasa3
