I have an 05 Yamaha 25 2 stroke and have noticed recently that the tiller handle has a lot of movement and extra play in it. Pretty sure it is from the weight of the extension over the years. Is this something that can be adjusted or do I need to buy new bushings or ????... If it requires replacement parts then how hard of a task is this? Thx in advance..

Replace the washers and bushings in the tiller and tiller connection area. Mercury outboards do this too.
