Permanant gas tank installation

I'd like to upgrade my portable setup and have my gas in the forward hatch. I'm looking at a below deck Moeller tank and I just want to make sure I get all of my fittings in working order. I'm planning on mounting the tank on a piece of starboard that is 4200'd to the floor. Vent will be Perko thru-hull on the side, with the hose higher than the vent. Gas fill will also be Perko deck mounted. If I'm not using a gauge do I just ground the sending unit? Is there anything else I'm overlooking?
