I have an aluminum patio table roughly 4’x6’. Wife keeps putting cheap table cloths over it. To protect it she says. It’s a wood plank look. I was thinking SEADEK OR Aquatraction cut to fit each faux wood aluminum plank. Maybe in some decorative pattern or color combo. I know how it cleans up on a boat. Anyone know how it cleans up from food spills not seen on a boat. Such as salad dressings and oils, dips, ketchup and mustard? Thoughts? And how do you like the brushed finish. I have the original bump type finish on my Seadek. Might even do the arm rest as they are flat aluminum.

She says table cloths are to protect it. We know pineapple table cloths and similar are decorative and she is using protective as a reason. But the pos’ blow off most days. So my thoughts are a permanent protective and decorative product. Personally I don’t want anything on it. But I hate the cloths.

Cant see using something with adhesive to "protect" the aluminium you're trying to preserve. Maybe roll linex all over it, that will protect the finish underneath from any scratches or potential mayonaise spills. Plus you could put wheels on it then use it move piles of gravel from one place to the next.

I’m not trying to protect it. I believe in my second post I wrote I prefer no cover. I’m sick of dealing with the cloths. But my wife wants protection. So I want to present an option. Wanted opinions if this was a cool idea.

Who gives a flying fuck about a table cloth? Oh god, there is a covering on a table? Embrace that shit. Put a GD clothespin on it.
