I love your side of the sand bar.... err Florida. I wish I could talk my wife into moving that way.
Caught my first snook on Lido key and my biggest to date at Pass-a-grille.
Need a 40 incher on fly now.

I do love this side....I do get to walk Lido Beach or the beaches on Longboat at least 2-3 times a week with a flyrod...what I love is our clear water and lack of surf, on most days anyway.

You see a few out there. In terms of snook, night time fly fishing is where it's at. They are definitely very active and you can score some juvy tarpon as well.
