Hello all.
I am new to the forum and new to boating in general. I have spent a lot of time though canoeing and kayaking (30 yrs) regularly here in central Florida.
I love getting out on the water and fishing but approaching 40 with some back problems I’m just so sick of paddling.
A couple weeks ago I bought a 14 ft. “Happy Traveler” 1991
The motor was locked but the price was really cheap and it’s the kind of boat I was after... looked around for months and it sort of spoke to me if that makes any sense.
Anyway I’m currently working on restoring the trailer, then will move to the hull, then the interior over maybe about 8 months to a year while I save for a nice motor. That’s the plan anyway (you know how those go).
Looks like the forum for me, anyway I’m happy to join the club!
