What a great time guiding a new generation of anglers! The strong north winds and low water made conditions tough for sightfishing. We started out poling a protected pond in search for redfish. We put the wind and sun to our backs and worked a high vegetation area with gin clear water.

We came across a nice school of pumpkins schooled up on a mud flat busting up on finger mullets. These redfish were very aggressive allowing this first time sight caster to tag and release 6 redfish ranging from 24-28". All fish were caught on 1/8 oz gamakatsu hooks rigged with 4" get 'em shad.
